InfoPlus Disaster Recovery for Avaya and Heritage Nortel.Implicit in Avaya and Heritage Nortel voice maintenance contracts is an obligation for the service provider to perform regular backups of Communication Server data. Customer expectations of backups are often missed for two reasons; 1) it is time consuming and therefore expensive for service providers to routinely perform this service on a regular basis, and 2) in a true disaster (requiring hardware replacement), traditional backup files are useless. InfoPlus has a solution. For a competitive price, InfoPlus' Data Backup Service will perform a remote backup of all of the binary files that comprise an Avaya or Heritage Nortel Communication Server's configuration. InfoPlus Backup files are available 24X7 on our secure, password protected InfoPlus Online Services portal. After downloading from our web site, the InfoPlus Backup files may be uploaded to the designated Communication Server. Avaya and Heritage Nortel Channel Partners need never miss a system backup again due to conflicting service obligations. InfoPlus GuardianService® for Heritage Nortel goes one step further. In addition to archiving all of the relevant binary database files, InfoPlus also obtains all of the textual files (TNB, CNF, RDB, etc.) that comprise the Communication Server's database. Using these textual files we have the ability, for example, to take any 400 ports from the database of a 6,000 port Heritage Nortel Meridian Option 81C and upload it to a temporary Heritage Nortel CS1000. This proprietary, platform-independent backup capability represents industry’s only true disaster recovery capability for Heritage Nortel. |
