Bristol Capital Launches Remote Site Survey for the Nortel BCM Platform

Montvale, NJ - October 1, 2003 -- Bristol Capital, a leading remote service bureau serving the PBX/VoIP marketplace, today announced that a brand new addition to the popular InfoPlus suite of communications support services — the InfoPlus Site Survey for Nortel BCM Systems — is now available through all of its authorized distributors.

The new service is similar in concept to the widely-used InfoPlus Site Survey (which addresses the Nortel M1 PBX), and is provided as a remote service bureau application. It is the first service of its kind available in the marketplace.

The new survey incorporates more than 45 graphical and text-based reports that turn the information inside the Nortel BCM into valuable, customer-friendly information that may be used to assist telecommunications vendors with creating maintenance proposals, engineering upgrades, documenting new installations and expansions and generating accurate site surveys in very little time with minimal expense.

End users who operate the Nortel BCM platform in their communications network will find that the new service gives them a sophisticated yet inexpensive way to manage and monitor their assets using a web-driven database. Users can also view information about and manage their Meridian 1, Avaya and Siemens 9006 equipment using the same database.

No special hardware or software is required, and there's virtually no learning curve. Plus, an entire network of Nortel BCM switches can be surveyed and published online in as little as twenty-four hours.

Future enhancements to the new BCM Site Survey will include a disaster recovery utility that adds periodic remote backups of all BCM files to a remote server.
