State of Alaska Uses InfoPlus GuardianService to Restore Service After Major PBX Failure

Montvale, NJ - October, 2006 -- "The State of Alaska has a Nortel Meridian 1, Option 81C PBX installed in Anchorage, Alaska - this system supports more than 6500 state employees throughout the Anchorage metropolitan area. Their PBX recently fell victim to data corruption which caused a major interruption in service. Immediately following the failure, the customer discovered that they had neglected to create backups of the PBX database and, as a result, had no way to reboot their system and eliminate the corruption.

Fortunately, the State of Alaska subscribed to InfoPlus GuardianService through AlcanTel Using the InfoPlus Online PBX Database, we were able to locate and download a complete, corruption-free binary backup of their PBX database from the InfoPlus website and, ultimately, restore their service.

Without InfoPlus GuardianService, this would have been a disaster, resulting in a complete re-build of the PBX from scratch and major downtime for the customer. We greatly appreciate the services your company offers and look forward to our continued business relationship. Keep up the good work!
