- Under the new agreement, Bristol Capital will be providing several vendor support solutions that will power Xeta's maintenance contract renewal and development process, remote system support such as disaster recovery traffic analysis, site surveys, customer management and a variety of customized engineering solutions such as Nortel system migrations, VoIP Readiness Assessments and automated dialing plan conversions. In addition to Nortel PBX solutions, Bristol Capital will be offering Traffic Study solutions for Xeta's Avaya PBX customer base.
- Bristol Capital is pleased to announce that it has expanded its Avaya support to include the InfoPlus SourceBook for Avaya PBX systems. Like our Nortel version, the new Avaya SourceBook includes more than twenty-five detailed reports that provide users and their vendors with a comprehensive snapshot of how their Avaya PBX system is programmed. From graphics of every station and equipment maps to administrative directories and trunking information, the InfoPlus SourceBook for Avaya PBX systems gives users and vendors an easy way to document new switch installations, clean up software programming conflicts, resolve service issues and assist with engineering upgrades. If you are an Avaya user and would to request an Avaya SourceBook for your PBX, contact our Sales Department at 201-476-0600 or send us an email at sales@infoplusonline.com.
- Bristol Capital has partnered with Soft-ex Communications, a leading provider of web-based call accounting solutions. Bristol Capital will be integrating the company's services into the InfoPlus portfolio of PBX management solutions under private label. With the addition of call accounting, end users can consolidate all major areas of PBX management and support under the InfoPlus Portfolio. - Bristol Capital is now able to offer remote site surveys for Avaya PBX systems! Surveys can be performed and made available online in as little as two hours. In addition, the format of our new Avaya Site Survey is consistent with that of our Nortel Survey and is published on the very same Online PBX Database - a great benefit for multi-platform customers. If you are an Avaya user and would to request an Avaya Site Survey for your PBX, contact our Sales Department at 201-476-0600 or send us an email at sales@infoplusonline.com.
- Bristol Capital now offers Nortel users the option of adding remote, Binary Data Backups to each SourceBook update. This solution is designed for customers seeking a less costly alternative to GuardianService, our full PBX reporting and disaster recovery solution. The binary backups are performed remotely and the core database files are made available on our Online PBX Database. In the event of a system failure, users can log on to the Online Database to download their root database files and then reload into the PBX database. Backups can be scheduled around your business needs and may be ordered as a stand-alone service. For more information about this service, please contact our Sales department at 201-476-0600 or send an email to sales@infoplusonline.com.
Service Updates
- More SourceBook/Site Survey Updates! The following enhancements have been added to the InfoPlus SourceBook and Site Survey for Nortel PBX platforms (effective as of 4/17/07):
- Addition of a "MARP Directory": Assists technicians or customers in determining which station controls the forwarding and hunting characteristics of a certain DN
- Addition of a MARP "Action Item" in the "Action Items" Report: When MARP is not enabled, a DN that appears on multiple sets will follow the Forwarding and HUNT characteristics of the phone with the latest service date. By enabling MARP it is much easier to figure out which phone will control a DN. When MARP is disabled, an Action Item will be generated in the SourceBook.
- Added IADN (Individual Attendant DNs) to the "Extension Directory": While the ATDN will distribute calls to all consoles, each individual console also has a number that can be dialed directly. We now include this information in the Extension Directory to provide a more complete list of extensions associated with devices.
- Added the SPRE Code and a list of Maintenance Phones to the beginning of the "Routes" Report: The SPRE code is used to log into the PBX from a maintenance set. Since the most commonly used function of the maintenance set is to seize a trunk, we added it to the Routes section, which lists all routes and trunks, to assist technicians in troubleshooting service issues.
- Modified the "Voice Mail" Report (now divided by ACD Group Number): Voice Mail ports that share the same ACD Group Number are now displayed together. In addition, a table of CDNs that are directed toward the ACD Group have been added as well.
- Added an additional alert to the "Action Items" Report that appears when Multiple Loop DN (MLDN) is disabled
- Site Survey - Additional Patch information has been added: A table indicating patches that are installed, but not in service, has been added. In addition, we have added a corresponding alert in the "Action Items" Report in the SourceBook that indicates when we detect patches that are not yet in service.
- Bristol Capital will be launching a new version of the InfoPlus SourceBook for Nortel Systems on 3/19/07. The new version includes an enhanced format and vastly improved graphics that make the report even more user-friendly and easier to navigate. In addition, the new format will also serve as a springboard for additional report sections that will be added throughout the year to meet the changing demands of our customers. If you'd like a SourceBook generated for your existing PBX or have questions about the new format, contact your Nortel vendor today, or send our Sales and Marketing Department an email at sales@infoplusonline.com. More updates coming soon!
