Communication Server Documentation and Analysis

GuardianService® is a bundled InfoPlus solution that provides ongoing updates of the InfoPlus SourceBook, Site Survey and Manufacturer Support Analysis. These updates are typically performed monthly, but customized schedules are also available.

GuardianService® reports are accessible on the InfoPlus Online Services Portal 24X7, which means that enterprise users can share information instantly across all business channels and corporate locations - even with their service provider. In short, GuardianService® provides Avaya and Heritage Nortel users with a full range of system reports and analyses unmatched in the industry.

Remote Disaster Recovery and Data Protection

From basic data protection and storage to automated, remote restoration services, GuardianService® offers advanced solutions that reduce system downtime and enable recovery from catastrophic system failures quickly and efficiently.

During each GuardianService® update, InfoPlus performs a binary database backup that allows channel partners to create system restoration media from a single file available online, 24X7. InfoPlus then performs a secondary, proprietary backup (for Heritage Nortel only) on the textual data programmed in the Communication Server. This platform-independent backup provides for the automated, line-by-line restoration of a Heritage Nortel database when basic restoration methods and procedures cannot be employed.

GuardianService® is a hosted service and requires no additional hardware or expensive software packages. All of the data needed to provide GuardianService® is obtained by downloading the Communication Server information using an IP or dial-up connection.
