Premium PBX Management and Remote Disaster Recovery Services

For customers with more rigorous business contingency and PBX management requirements, Bristol Capital offers GuardianService - our premium PBX reporting and disaster recovery solution.

Online PBX Management and Analysis

GuardianService provides periodic updates of the InfoPlus SourceBook, Site Survey and End of Life Analysis. These updates are typically performed monthly, but custom schedules are also available for systems that may experience high levels of MAC activity or that have more rigorous disaster recovery requirements. The service also includes two email-based notification services that inform end users when an update has been performed while simultaneously alerting vendors to potential sales and service opportunities resulting from programming conflicts, capacity shortages and obsolete equipment. All InfoPlus reports are published on the InfoPlus PBX database which means that vendors and their customers can share the information instantly without the need for time-consuming site visits. In short, GuardianService provides vendors and their customers with a full range of PBX reports in graphical and textual format that few telemanagement applications can match.

PBX Disaster Recovery and Data Protection

From basic data protection and storage to automated, remote restoration services, GuardianService offers advanced solutions that help your customers reduce system downtime and recover from catastrophic system failures quickly and efficiently.

During each GuardianService update, two distinct types of database backups are performed: a binary database backup that enables you to create a system restoration disk or card from a single file available online 24X7, as well as a textual, platform-independant backup that provides for the automated, line-by-line restoration of your database in situations where a basic restoration disk cannot be used (i.e. hardware failures as a result of environmental damage).

GuardianService is hosted remotely as a service-bureau application and requires no additional hardware or expensive software packages. All of the data needed to provide GuardianService is obtained by downloading the information via the system's maintenance port.

Kill Four Birds With One Stone

As a CPE vendor, you'll benefit from being able to satisfy your customers' business contingency requirements and offer advanced PBX backup services without having to spend time and money on site visits and sacrificing the profitability of your maintenance contracts. But the benefits of the service go far beyond disaster recovery as you'll also have access to current Site Surveys, End of Life Information and SourceBooks for the customer systems you're protecting. This information enables you to keep port counts updated on maintenance contracts, ensuring that you're capturing all billable revenue.
